7 steps to the perfect blow-dry result

1. Gently towel dry your hair

While your hair is wet, it is at its most fragile. After washing, just press the hair gently into a towel instead of rubbing it dry and use a detangling comb or use your fingers. If your hair has a tendency to become tangled, use a leave-in conditioner. 2. Let the hair dry

4. The right hair dryer

Correct blow-drying begins with choosing the right hair dryer. It is important to be able to regulate air flow and temperature in at least two stages on your hair dryer. 5. Blow dry in the direction of growth

Always blow dry your hair from the roots to the tips so that the cuticle is closed and not roughened - this stabilizes the structure and protective layer of your hair - for more flexibility after blow-drying.

6. Round brush and Co.

Blow dry your hair with your fingers or a paddle brush before using a round brush. Now work step by step: pin off the upper hair with a large bobby pin and blow-dry and style the lower parts. Build up a lot of tension with the round brush to get your hair really straight.

Volume On: If you want to create more volume, place a round brush at the roots and warm it up with the hairdryer. Repeat this step until the roots are dry. Now pull the brush and hairdryer along the length of your hair to dry the tips as well. Make sure, however, that you don't pull the strand down too much, otherwise you lose volume. Round brushes with a medium to large diameter (33mm, 43mm or 53mm) are perfect.  

7. The cold setting

Use the cold setting button at the end of your blow dry. The blast of cold air will help to smooth your hair structure, fix your hairstyle and give it a nice shine.
